• WEATHER SAFETY CONCERNS: With the changing weather conditions, roads may become slippery when wet or snow covered because of added debris on roadways. Please drive with caution through all construction and haul road areas.

SAFETY CONCERNS: When traveling through construction zones, please do not pass other vehicles or construction equipment and be cautious of crew members standing along the roadways. Pay attention to flaggers on all roads and watch traffic signals along Highway 57; if it’s red, stop and wait for the light to turn green. Be safe and smart while traveling through these work zones. Traffic is asked to keep up with the traffic flow behind pilot cars – this will ensure all traffic is moving at a timely manner through construction zones. speed limit is reduced to 25mph.

SPIRIT LAKE CASINO & RESORT TO ADD GROCERY STORE- NOW OPEN!  (ebt is now accepted)

 

Spirit Lake Grocery is now open to serve all your household and grocery needs.  Stop by and check out the new store -  7am-11pm seven days a week.

 

In a private tribal ceremony, The Spirit Lake Tribe broke ground Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010 on an 8000 sq. ft. grocery store that is to be located next to the Spirit Lake Marina. The Spirit Lake Casino & Resort will be managing the new venture expecting to open for business in spring of 2011. Construction Engineers is in charge of the $2.7 million dollar project that was designed by the architect, EAPC.


The Grocery Store employs 17 people and is open 7 days a week from 6:00am - 10:00pm. Paul Matheny, General Manager of the Spirit Lake Casino & Resort announced this will be another profitable venture for the tribe and will allow for more business growth on the reservation. 

New Fall/Winter hours for the Gift Shop effective Oct. 1st, 2011 9am-10pm Monday -Saturdays and  and 10am-10pm Sundays
