Department: Food & Beverage
Position(s): Buffet Cashier
Summary of Duties: The Buffet Cashier is the greeter to the
buffet. He/She greets the guest in a friendly manner, rings up
the dinner sales and returns the correct change necessary.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Greets the guest in a friendly manner.
• Ring up the dinner sale-take money and return the necessary
change.
• Seat the guest, asking preference, smoking or non-smoking
section.
• Tell guest to enjoy their dinners, and explain how the
buffet works for those that may have never been to our buffet.
• Thanks the guest for coming as the guest leaves the buffet.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Must have excellent customer service and people skills.
Relationships to Other Departments: Reports directly
to the Food and Beverage Shift Supervisor or Director. Cashiers
must have the Shift Supervisor or Director get change for them.
Call the Vault and Surveillance prior to Z’ing in and out
of the cash register. Cashiers always should be escorted by a
Shift Supervisor or Director when receiving or returning till
drawer.
Employment Status: Full-Time, permanent, hourly.
